9 Fucking Points...
...is what kept me from a berth in the next round of the playoffs. Sunday's Black Prez scoring: 9 for Lamar, 8 for McDyess, 6 for Rondo, and 4 for Horford. Fucking despicable.
3:56 AM?!?!? wow you were really angry and couldn't sleep, huh? that got closer than i thought during my subway ride home. 'tawn and la grange really turned it on in the 2nd half. it was a great battle all week long, sovic, and i will honor brooklyn/nyc by defeating our austin nemesis this week.
Sovic, as dois pointed out to me this morning, it's really beb's fault. You would have crushed me this past week (I think 6-2) had we been matched up. However, because I slaughtered beb 7-1 the week before, I received the bye, and you played dois. Just blame beb.
yeah, blame me cause i clearly intentionally let will beat me. getting beat horribly by will is really my favorite thing.
really, it's more that will is just the luckiest bastard in the league. it started at the beginning when he got gifted an 8-0 (dois did too, by the way) and ended when he got the bye after facing me when i had my worst week of the season.
in fact i'm suprised there isn't more discussion of those two 8-0 weeks they each got. with things coming down so close at the end it certainly could have changed seeding and things.
then again, sovic benefited from the "amare trade reversal" scandal, so maybe that evens it out, except i never got anything....
I will never argue that I'm not lucky. However, beb, since you finished more than 8 games behind both me and bardey, you would NOT have overtaken either of us in the standings (thanks for pointing this out to me, dois). In addition, your seeding would have dropped from 4 to 5 because Screen's record would have been better. So, Screen starting the season 0-16 actually HELPED you in the standings. You do have some luck!
and if i had dropped from 4 to 5 and screen moved up to 4?
yeah, i would have played screen in the first round, just like i did, and i'd be exactly where i am now.
nice try.
the point i was making is that you and bardey might have ended up switching spots and he would have gotten the bye and you would have played sovic. of course, i'm too lazy to check, but that is the possibility i was reffering to.
two guys who are still in the playoffs inexplicably sniping at each other over some random that's-the-way-the-cookie-crumbles shit? it must be a blog comment section.
i'm out because my boys didn't score enough points and b diddy sat out a couple games with a sore tummy. that's all. it doesn't have shit to do with screen's idiocy in november or beb "laying down" in the last week of the season.

I would be upset if I lost tiebreaker by 9 points. Here is what I think about KG:

if we didn't needlessly snipe this blog would look like this:
ReplyDeletewill: hey beb! great week, congrats on the awesome win buddy!!
beb: thanks will! you're awesome too. good luck next week against bardey. i wish you could somehow both win.
totally gay.
i just realized if you replaced my name with bardey that conversation would like every chat will and dois have ever had.
ReplyDeleteyes! it'd been awhile since our last "shoaf and bardey are gay for each other over gchat" comment. way too long, in fact.
ReplyDeleteit really is too bad we can't take our fantasy manlove into the finals. nobody wants it to end so soon.
more morning dumps, please.
ReplyDeletefeeling a little backed up dois?
ReplyDeleteI can take care of that...
ReplyDeletestill backed up. this is getting bad.
ReplyDeletemaybe our commish has lost interest now that he has been bounced from the playoffs?
ReplyDeletestill interested, but taking just a few days off. back soon.
ReplyDeleteMore interested in WC qualifiers eh? Too busy watching your Fastvaks?
ReplyDeleteI'm so lonely without the faculty of letters blog...
