Morning Dump

A quick daily look at last night's highs and lows.

Hot Shit: J.R. Smith, Black Prez
.571 - .667 - 8 - 28 - 2 - 7 - 0 - 1
Not the hottest Hot Shit ever, and maybe LeBron had a better overall night, but you gotta give it up to those 8 threes.

Loose Stool: Andrei Kirilenko, Kill Whitey
.100 - .750 - 1 -6 - 4 - 1 - 0 - 1

Upper Decker: Ramon Sessions, Black Ice
.500 - .857 - 0 - 18 - 5 - 10 - 4 - 0

Getting my feet wet again with this one. More substantive posts coming soon as the road to the Finals continues.

  1. Both semi games are locked in heated battles. Whoever wins points will win head to the finals...

  2. Sovic, I have a playoff request/suggestion. For the playoffs, instead of a morning dump (or as part of the morning dump), you should write a quick update of each playoff battle. Just one or 2 sentences summing up the night's action. I love you.

  3. sovic, i think you are biased towards your prezodents. jr smith has more hot stools than will after a meal at the old c'ville guadalajara.

  5. will, this is the second time you've promoted a playoffs-centric Faculty, and that's not what we're about. this blog concerns the whole league. however, i have a suggestion for you: for the playoffs, in the comment section, you should write a quick update of each playoff battle. just one or 2 sentences summing up the night's action. feel me?

  7. Also, "this is not what we're about." What the fuck is that? Who are you talking about? Who do you think reads this thing? Also, forgive me for making a suggestion to our league blog. Sorry, I meant your league blog. I will refrain from this action in the future.

  8. i guess my harsh tone made me misunderstood. here's maybe a better way of saying it:

for what i write, i continue to like taking a look at the league as a whole (thus selfishly including my own team). while i sort of care about what ends up happening in the playoffs, i'm not following it nightly with a magnifying glass the way you and dois are. so if anyone's going to write a quick daily update on that, it'd be better written by one of you. considering that, as you said, there's only about 3-5 of us reading this thing, i figure it's just as welcome in the comments section as a post, but if you feel like you'd rather post it i can give you access to do that.
